QlikView – the world’s fastest growing business intelligence solution has scored Champion status with a higher than average result for value delivered in the Aberdeen Group’s 2009 AXIS report on performance management software. The report recognises QlikView for its intuitiveness, which means that end-users are likely to adapt to its use quickly. Based on the Aberdeen Group’s research, user adoption is shown to be critical for companies obtaining a rapid return on investment and QlikView customers report that they are able to implement and deploy the product rapidly; just a few weeks for smaller companies and two to three months for larger organisations. The observations made in the AXIS report include QlikView users consistently reporting high praise and satisfaction with the product and customers being the most likely to have achieved value since purchasing QlikView for performance management projects.
In the report, performance management software is a product segment that exists within the overall business intelligence software market. Performance management capabilities are comprised of a mix of practices, processes, disciplines and technologies that, when combined, provide a company with greater visibility into performance drivers with the ability to better manage decisions and actions that affect an organisation’s performance.
