Unique network of small animal veterinary practices selects QlikView for its business intelligence reporting
Vets4Pets has more than fifty practices across the UK and this network is growing all the time. The company’s aim is to have a satisfied customer base and happy and healthy pets by providing consistent, high quality and convenient healthcare at affordable prices. It was in the process of moving its day-to-day operational systems across to a SQL platform and at the same time, it wanted to improve on its reporting capabilities by implementing a business intelligence tool that would help it report quickly and seamlessly across all of its IT systems. It knew that the reporting software it chose had to be one that ‘non technical’ personnel could use easily and quickly and had to have the flexibility and scalability it needed to meet its increasing demands for complex data mining, reporting and analysis. After researching the SQL based reporting packages available on the market Vets4Pets found that QlikView met its needs the best and therefore, it contacted Informance to arrange a demonstration.
